Re doing my 30 gallon in Walstad style

This time I am going by the book. It well proable take me all day. I am draining the tank right now. Got to remove the gravel and then go get my soil and a few more plants to add to the plants I have.
This time going to put the plants in and NOT move them. That is one of my worst problems I move then and soil starts to get all over the tank. Yuck

Dojo passed last night

Not sure what happened. I did move the angelfish out cause I was reminded dojo's prefer cool water. So I moved it and put in my white clouds and started to lower the temp slowly.
This morning one of the male dojo's was dead. Last night it was fine. Tested the tank and it is fine.(and for you nosey people I am not listing the test I have been keeping fish for over 20 years I know what it is suppose to be.) Must of been stress.
